Splitting up is sometimes a good thing
Don’t worry: We’re not going anywhere and we’re not getting rid of anything.
We’re changing our popular daily e-blast full of stories from DailyTrib.com, The Picayune, and 101HighlandLakes.com. You know the one that pops up in your email every weekday afternoon? We're breaking it up into two separate e-blasts.
The DailyTrib.com e-blast, which features local news, will continue Monday-Friday. This is where you get the lowdown on Highland Lakes news.
With 101HighlandLakes.com growing, we’ve decided to give it an e-blast of its own. This is where you’ll find all the events, The Picayune features, and travel-related stories and photos.
“We experienced growth by adding more local products like KBEY 103.9 FM and 101HighlandLakes.com over the past couple of years. These products, along with The Picayune and 101 Fun Things to do in the Highland Lakes magazine, give us a great source of information to share," The Picayune publisher Amber Weems said. “By adding a distinct 101HighlandLakes.com e-blast, we’re responding to the needs of our readers and the growing market. We’re providing content in a way that our readers and customers utilize it.”
The split will take place Wednesday, June 7.
The great thing is you don’t have to do anything. If you already subscribe to the e-blast, you’ll get both of them. If you aren’t subscribed, well, head over to DailyTrib.com or 101HighlandLakes.com and sign up for the newsletters.
It’s as simple as that.
If you know someone you think would benefit from getting our e-blasts, send them over to either site and encourage them to sign up. It's FREE — just like all of our products.
The e-blast split is just one more example of how The Picayune, DailyTrib.com, KBEY 103.9 FM Radio Picayune, and 101HighlandLakes.com are your best connections to what’s going on in the community.
