MARBLE FALLS — The 2016 Picayune/KBEY 103.9 FM Radio Picayune Food Drive on Nov. 11 was a smashing success.

The drive shattered last year’s numbers as Highland Lakes residents donated more than $1,531 and 1,705 pounds of food in Marble Falls for The Helping Center of Marble Falls and more than $1,622 and 3,477 pounds of food in Burnet for LACare.

It was great effort with support from the Marble Falls Fire Rescue, the Marble Falls Area EMS, the Burnet Fire Department and EMS, and the Burnet Police Department.
