A stroll through Starry, Starry Nights has become a tradition in Badu Park along the Llano River in Llano. This year’s holiday lights display begins Friday, Nov. 27, and glows from 6-9 p.m. every evening through Thursday, Dec. 31. Organizers tweak the display each year, adding new light sculptures, but it’s always at Badu Park, 300 W. Legion Drive in Llano, where you’ll find hot chocolate and lots of Christmas cheer.

While in Llano, add to the holiday happenings with a stop at the Llano County Courthouse, which is also lit up for the holidays. County officials flip the switch for the courthouse lights on Nov. 25, the day before Thanksgiving.

Relax under the lights in the courthouse gazebo or stroll along the square, taking in the unique shops and restaurants.

Both the courthouse and Starry, Starry Nights are outside, but organizers encourage social distancing and face coverings due to COVID-19. Learn more at llanostarrystarrynights.com.
