Marble Falls Christmas Light-Up Parade
Get the season rolling — along a parade route that is — at the Marble Falls Christmas Light-Up Parade at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20. It was extended by three extra blocks this year to allow for social distancing. Face coverings are encouraged as well. The parade route will start at Broadway and Main streets and travel south on Main through downtown Marble Falls, culminating near Yett Street. From there, parade-goers can make their way to Lakeside Park for the official lighting of Walkway of Lights.
The Marble Falls Christmas Light-Up Parade is one of the most anticipated and well-attended parades around. Against a backdrop of the setting sun, the U.S. 281 Bridge, and Lake Marble Falls, the area glows with light.
Parade-goers will be treated to creative floats, fire trucks, the world-famous Plungettes and Bleachers, and plenty of Christmas characters making their way through historic downtown Marble Falls.
When the parade ends, people gather and welcome Walkway of Lights. The lakeside display runs 6-10 p.m. nightly through Jan. 2. Along with all of the lights and sculptures, the Marble Falls/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce is creating theme nights at the display. You can also enjoy an ice skating rink.
