Hold on to your seats! Burnet County Rodeo action returns at 7 p.m. Friday-Saturday, May 13-14, to the fairgrounds, 1301 Houston Clinton Drive in Burnet. Tickets are on sale in advance or at the gate.
Get ready for bulls, broncs, barrels, and more, including hall of fame rodeo clown and Blanco native Leon Coffee. Stock producer Johnny Hoyle and Cadillac Rodeo Company will supply the brawn.
The Burnet County Rodeo is sanctioned by the Cowboys Professional Rodeo Association and the United Professional Rodeo Association. Professional athletes will be competing for points to qualify for the national championship.
Kids can take part in calf and shoe scrambles as well as mutton bustin'. Pre-signup is at Blair's Western Wear & Boutique, 2501 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, or at the rodeo grounds.
Both nights end with a live concert, included with the price of admission. The Bode Barker Band performs Friday, while Cody Hibbard takes the stage Saturday.
