Llano MusicFest a Texas 'culture extravaganza'
Texas country artist Roger Creager and the genre-defying, nine-piece group Shinyribs are headlining the first-ever Llano MusicFest, which is Sept. 29-30 at Robinson City Park on the Llano River. The event, held in conjunction with the Hill Country Outdoor Expo, is billed as a "culture extravaganza in the heart of pure Texas." Tickets are on sale online.

- 9:30 p.m. — Roger Creager
The event is BYOB with all beverages in a cooler (no glass). A cooler pass can be purchased online or at the gate.
HILL COUNTRY OUTDOOR EXPO
At the nearby John L. Kuykendall Event Center, 2200 RR 152 West, browse hunting, fishing, and western vendors from Sept. 29-Oct. 1. Admission is free. The Tyler Magnus Roping and Ranch Rodeo takes place in the arena.
