Big Bass Shootout on Lake LBJ

Hook a $2,500 prize in the Big Bass Shootout on Lake LBJ on Saturday, May 14. The tournament is hosted by Wakepoint LBJ, 14757 RR 1431 in Kingsland. Anglers of all ages take to the water from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Entry is $125 for ages 16 and older and $75 for ages 15 and younger. Register at Ace Home Improvement, 2607 RR 1431 in Kingsland, or print out and mail in a downloaded entry form.

Guaranteed prize payouts totaling $10,000 will be awarded every hour and a half. The biggest bass snags $2,500. First and second places at each weigh-in win $1,000 and $500, respectively. Weigh-ins are from 7-8:30 a.m., 8:30-10 a.m., 10-11:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., and 1-2:30 p.m. Scales close at 2:45 p.m.

The tournament also includes a raffle for products donated by the Kingsland Ace store. Each entered angler receives a free ticket. Additional raffle tickets are $5 each.
