'Birthday Club' opens April 22 at Hill Country Community Theatre

The Phil Olson comedy "Birthday Club" runs April 22-May 15 at the Hill Country Community Theatre, 4003 FM 2147 West in Cottonwood Shores. Tickets are on sale online and are $25 for adults and $15 for students with valid IDs.

Performances are 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays.

“Birthday Club” follows the story of five women — Cheryl, Kathy, Abbie, Emily, and Sarah — who make a tradition of celebrating their birthdays together every year. Whether the characters are managing marriage troubles, confronting strict religious beliefs, or flirting with their attractive neighbor during the meetings, this rousing comedy is sure to leave the audience in stitches.
