Doug Stone to heavy metal at Brass Hall

Brass Hall in Marble Falls has a lineup of musical acts, including country, heavy metal, emo, and an Elvis tribute in December and January.

On Dec. 18, Doug Stone & The Stone Age Band come to town. The veteran country crooner has several No. 1 singles under his belt, including "In a Different Light," "A Jukebox and a Country Song," and "Why Didn't I Think of That." On Jan. 8 at 9 p.m., Versus Productions presents Emo Night, spotlighting rock music that explores emotional expression. The night features DJ Versus, Lady Versus, and Heavy in their homecoming dance party. Ages 21 and up. General admission tickets are $5 in advance and $10 at the door. A Birthday VIP Booth for six with a bottle of wine/Champagne and a mobile bartender is $300.

On Jan. 22 is Hardwired to Kill'em All, a Houston-based Metallica tribute band. Listen to hard-hitting songs from one of the heaviest bands of all time. Hardwired to Kill'em All shows its softer side by donating a portion of the proceeds of every show to a charity.
