MEMORIAL DAY: Fallen Service Members from Burnet and Llano Counties

U.S. Army Corp. Harry Haskell Hale of Marble Falls served in Company D, 141st Infantry of the 36th Division during World War I. He was one of many Highland Lakes men who died during the first world war. Hale succumbed to combat wounds on Oct. 16, 1918. He is buried at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Marble Falls.
