‘Container Gardening Year-Round’

This free Green Thumb program at Lakeshore Branch Library in Buchanan Dam will show you how to grow a beautiful garden in pots, no matter where you live. Space is limited. RSVP to 325-379-1174.

Scavenger hunt at the library

The Marble Falls Public Library hosts this fun event for ages 8 and older. Space is limited. Register your child at the circulation desk or email msmith@burnetcountylibrary.org.

Full Moon Yoga Hike

Take a Full Moon Yoga Hike at Pedernales Falls State Park. Practice gentle Hatha yoga to the sound of rushing waterfalls and howling coyotes followed by a short hike and Full Moon Meditation. There is a fee for this event. Pre-registration required.

Live music and movie in the park

The Brass Hall Outdoor Summer Series continues at Johnson Park in Marble Falls. Music by Rochelle & The Sidewinders and a screening of “The Blues Brothers.” Event is free.

Old-Fashioned Gospel Sing-Along and Ice Cream Social

The third annual Old-Fashioned Gospel Sing-Along and Ice Cream Social takes place in the worship center at First Baptist Church of Marble Falls.

Famed Oklahoma-born troubadour and Wimberley resident Ray Wylie Hubbard is live on stage at the Globe Theatre in Bertram for its Summer Concert Series.

National Clear the Shelters Day

The Hill Country Humane Society celebrates National Clear the Shelters Day with a discounted adoption fee of $20 for all dogs and cats.

Back-to-school laser tag

The YMCA of the Highland Lakes at Galloway-Hammond in Burnet hosts this fun event for ages 10-16. Cost is $20 for YMCA members and $30 for non-members.

‘A Salute to Conway and Loretta’

The LanTex Theater in Llano hosts Tre Twitty and Tayla Lynn in this Llano Country Opry tribute performance.
