Show off your amazing talent at Hill Country Community Theatre

The Hill Country Community Talent Show is August 17-18. Open auditions are 1-3 p.m. August 10.

The Hill Country Community Theatre is auditioning Highland Lakes residents for its fifth annual talent show. If you are a singer, musician, dancer, magician, comedian, ventriloquist, animal trainer, or have some other entertaining act, you are encouraged to try out.

“I was amazed with the variety of talent that we’ve had the last four years,” said Mike Rademaekers, executive director of the nonprofit arts venue in Cottonwood Shores. “This show is an opportunity for people to come and let their talents and abilities shine on our stage.” Open auditions are free and set for 1-3 p.m. Saturday, August 10, at the theater, 4003 FM 2147 West. No appointment is necessary. Musical acts must be acoustical only; no bands. This is a showcase performance, not a competition. Prizes will not be awarded. Due to the overwhelming popularity of the event in past years, two performances will be held this year: 7:30 p.m. August 17 and 2:15 p.m. August 18.
