Run the Hill Country Trivium in Marble Falls
More than 440 legs will run the roads behind Marble Falls High School's Mustang Stadium on Sunday, November 10, during the annual Hill Country Trivium.
It’s one of the most beautiful and fun courses in Texas.
The Hill Country Trivium offers a 50-kilometer run, a marathon, a half-marathon, a 10K, a 5K, and the Phoenix Family Fun Run. Everything starts and finishes at the stadium, 2101 Mustang Drive in Marble Falls.
The 50K and marathon start at 7 a.m. followed by the half-marathon at 7:30 a.m. The 10K and 5K runners take off at 8 a.m.
The Phoenix Family Fun Run begins at 9:30 a.m and stays within the stadium.
The other events head out of the stadium’s west side and to County Road 340. The courses — depending on which event — are on CR 340 and CR 341. All runners return to Mustang Stadium for the finish.
The 50K ultra-marathon runners will go as far north on CR 340 as the CR 335 intersection before heading back.
Officials ask that drivers on CR 340 and CR 341 north of Marble Falls be aware of runners on those roads.
Registration for the Hill Country Trivium ranges from $50 to $100, depending on the distance. The Phoenix Family Fun Run is free to enter, but donations go to the Phoenix Center of Marble Falls, which provides high-quality mental health care for Highland Lakes children.
The highlight for runners might just be a piece of pie from Blue Bonnet Cafe at the finish line. Not a bad way to cap off the day.
