MayFest returns to Marble Falls in 2021 after last year's event was canceled due to the pandemic. One of the first large city events this year, the festival brings the community together over family-friendly games, carnival rides, festival food, and live music.

Hosted by the Marble Falls/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce, the event is May 5-8 at Johnson Park, 230 Avenue J South. Admission is free.

MayFest begins Wednesday, May 5, with a carnival from 5 p.m. to midnight. It will be open the duration of the festival. There's a cost for carnival rides and games. Visit the MayFest webpage for times.

On Tejano Night, which is Friday, May 7, DJ Freddie will play a variety of Latin music from 5-11:30 p.m.

On Saturday, May 8, the festival will be in full swing from noon to midnight with a pop-up market, food trucks, and live music. Braedon Barnhill plays from 6-7:30 p.m. followed by The Selfless Lovers from 8-11:30 p.m.

Visitors are encouraged to bring picnic blankets or lawn chairs to the performances. Chamber members will sell beer, hard seltzers, and wine during the concerts. Alcohol and glass containers cannot be brought in or out of the park.

For parking details, access an interactive festival map here. For more information, visit the festival webpage.
