Mighty Thomas Carnival comes to Burnet

The Mighty Thomas Carnival is in Burnet on June 19-24 and will be open to the public following COVID-19 guidelines.

“We are doing our best to prevent the spread of coronavirus on our midway, and are implementing guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (and Prevention) and the Texas Governor’s office, and supplementing with extra measures of our own,” reads a media release from the company.

Attendees will be asked to wear masks and keep 6 feet apart from those not in their group.

Ticket sales may be limited to help maintain social distancing. Reservations for time slots can be made in advance by contacting 512-282-4442 or john@thomascarnival.com.

Rides are one, two, three, or four tickets each. Single tickets are $1, but are cheaper if bought in bulk. Thirty tickets are $25, or $20 with a coupon; 60 tickets cost $40, or $35 with a coupon. Coupons can be found on the carnival’s Facebook page and redeemed by showing the image on a smartphone.

Carnival hours are:

  • 3-11 p.m. Friday, June 19
  • 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday, June 20
  • 1-10 p.m. Sunday, June 21
  • 3-10 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, June 22-24
