HCCT season opens with ‘More Senior Moments’
The Hill Country Community Theatre opens its 2019-20 season with the world premiere of “More Senior Moments,” an ageless musical comedy.
This sequel to “Senior Moments,” produced by the theater in 2017, is a series of rollicking musical vignettes dealing with aging. Growing older has many facets; it’s uproarious at times and deeply moving at others. “More Senior Moments” is guaranteed to elicit laughter as it moves from scene to scene, touching on life experiences to which every audience member can relate.
The production opens September 19 at the theater, 4003 FM 2147 West in Cottonwood Shores, and runs through October 6. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and 2:15 p.m. Sundays.
The ensemble cast features Francie Dix, Anson Hahn, Pam Hawley, Wayne Hawley, Maris Lynne Long, Fran McRedmond, Sharon Penny, Nina Price, Seth Smith, Toni Souther, and Jeff Townsend.
Mike Rademaekers is the director; Les Young provides musical direction.
Book, music, and lyrics are by Linda Kaufman.
Admission is $25 for adults and $12 for students with a valid identification. Tickets go on sale to the general public on September 12. Hill Country Community Theatre season subscribers may make reservations starting September 9. Call 830-798-8944, go to thehcct.org, or visit the box office for reservations.
