Ms. Lollipop Costume Contest and Parade is Oct. 27; Voting is Oct. 21-26

Ms. Lollipop and Sugar Mama Cookies are holding a kids' costume contest and parade.

Ms. Lollipop, the Highland Lakes’s bringer of cheer and fun, is hosting the Ms. Lollipop’s and Sugar Mama Cookies’ Costume Parade on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 2-3 p.m. at Old Oak Square in Marble Falls.

But kids need to have their costumes in order now because an online judging contest is Oct. 21-26. Parents can email a photo of their child in costume to through Saturday, Oct. 20. Then, Ms. Lollipop will put them on her website at so everyone can vote for their favorite.

On Oct. 27, everyone is invited to Old Oak Square on Main Street from 2-3 p.m. to participate in the parade. An adult guardian must be present with children. (Parents can dress up as well.)

The winners — based on age categories — will be announced at the parade. Organizers have at least 30 donated prizes from area businesses for the costume contest.
