Bullriding, longhorns, and vintage shopping in Llano

Buckle up as the Llano PBR Bullriding gets bucking at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, at the John L. Kuykendall Event Center, 2200 RR 152 West in Llano.

The event is part of the Professional Bull Riders Touring Pro Division, showcasing one of the most dangerous sports in the world. You can see some of the best bull riders and bulls at the Llano stop.

Admission is $25 for ages 13 and older, $10 for ages 6-12, and free for ages 5 and younger. Tickets are available online.

Also that weekend at the event center is the South Texas Longhorn Association show, which starts at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, and features the magnificent cattle breed so integral to Texas history. The show continues at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16. On Sunday, Oct. 17, youth exhibitors take to the ring following Cowboy Church, which starts at 8 a.m. in the arena.

Also, shoppers can browse Junk Hippy at the center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. that Saturday with some of the best vintage vendors around.
