Visit Phoenix Center’s Future Horseshoe Bay Site During Picnic at the Property
HORSESHOE BAY — The Phoenix Center of Marble Falls is throwing a picnic May 17, and you’re invited.
It’s a chance for people to check out the center’s future campus location at 3340 Texas 71 West in Horseshoe Bay. The Phoenix Center is hosting Picnic at the Property from 5-8 p.m. that Thursday. During the event, Phoenix Center staff will share the master plan for the future campus, which will include a ropes challenge course and an equine therapy center.
The picnic features live music by local artists, including Americana singer-songwriter Leigh Rowan.
In Cahoots Catering is providing the food and beverages. In Cahoots is a joint venture between Paul Brady, owner of the River City Grille, and noted chef Becca Schafer, owner and executive chef of Becca Schafer Events.
The Phoenix Center provides high-quality mental health services to Highland Lakes youth and their families. The staff uses innovative, trauma-informed therapy and education. Phoenix Center services include counseling, children’s groups, parenting groups, Camp Phoenix’s therapeutic camp sessions at Candlelight Ranch, and community outreach and collaboration.
In November 2017, the Phoenix Center acquired 77 acres to serve as the site of its future campus and state-of-the-art mental health clinic, an equine therapy center, therapeutic camp facilities, and more.
