Science Mill's Superhero Scavenger Hunt on Father's Day weekend

Celebrate the heroes in your life on Father’s Day weekend, June 19-20, with a Superhero Scavenger Hunt at the Science Mill, 101 S. Lady Bird Lane in Johnson City.

The event is 10 a.m.-4 p.m. both days.

Follow clues to find 10 heroes hiding among the museum's 50-plus hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math exhibits, including Batman, Wolverine, Aquaman, and Captain Marvel.

The self-guided activity uncovers real science that sounds like it’s straight from a comic book: the power to move things with your mind, regrow limbs, and control the weather.

Visitors can relax after a day of hunting in the Science & Art Park’s shaded pecan grove with picnic tables. Farm-to-table treats are available on site at Lady Bird Lane Cafe, or you can bring your own food.

Admission is $11 for ages 18-64, $9.50 for ages 3-17, $9 for ages 65 and older, and free for ages 2 and younger. You can purchase tickets online. The Science Mill is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday-Sunday. Visit the website for COVID-19 safety protocols or call 844-263-6405 for more information.
