Spicewood Arts concert season starts Nov. 13

Spicewood Arts launches its pandemic-delayed concert season on Nov. 13. with Blue Water Highway. The season ends May 14 with the annual Toast to Tony Tribute Jazz Concert.
Performances are at 7 p.m. at the Spicewood Vineyards Event Center, 1419 CR 409 in Spicewood. Attendance at each show will be limited to allow for social distancing in an effort to slow the spread of the virus that causes COVID-19. Face coverings are required. Concerts will be held outside if the weather allows.

BLUE WATER HIGHWAY
High school friends and songwriting partners Zack Kibodeaux and Greg Essington front this Americana band. Their new CD, "Paper Airplanes," was released in March. Visit the group's website for music and more.

THE TEXAS LOVEBIRDS
The music of The Texas Lovebirds is funny yet poignant. According to their website, they're "a little country, a little honky tonk, a little theater, and a lot of love."

TOAST TO TONY TRIBUTE JAZZ CONCERT
The annual concert sponsored by the Paul Motheral family features Pamela Hart, Greg Abate, and Andre Hayward.
Tickets for each show can be purchased on the Spicewood Arts website. Season tickets will not be sold this year, but a 10 percent discount is offered with purchase of all four concerts.
The nonprofit Spicewood Arts promotes performing arts and supports local school programs and scholarships to students continuing their education in the arts.
