Spicewood Live! continues with Celtic, rock, jazz

The current Spicewood Live! concert season continues in 2022 with Beyond the Pale, Band of Heathens, and Toast to Tony. The Spicewood Arts-sponsored shows take place at Spicewood Vineyards, 1419 CR 409 in Spicewood.

On March 25, Beyond the Pale performs Celtic music from Ireland and Scotland for a late St. Patrick’s Day celebration. “Lilting vocal melodies are backed by thrilling instrumental work” from the fiddle, flute, guitar, bodhran, and more.

Tickets are $35. Doors open at 6 p.m. Showtime is 7 p.m.

Taking the stage April 22 is Austin-based The Band of Heathens, a “Southern rock band with a social conscience.” The group’s newest album, “Rock and Roll Doctor,” is out Feb. 25.

The annual Toast to Tony jazz concert is May 13 and pays tribute to the late Tony Campise. This year’s event features the music of Kris Kimura.

Spicewood Arts is a nonprofit organization promoting the performing, visual, and literary arts in the Highland Lakes and supporting local high school students with scholarships. It hosts the Spicewood Live! concert season, the Spicewood Arts Festival in October, and Art Treks.
