You might have attended other virtual events, but the Science Mill in Johnson City bets you haven’t been to one quite like theirs. “Navigating the In-Between: A Virtual Experience” is 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Thursday-Sunday, Oct. 15-18.

The event, which benefits the facility’s Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math youth programs, is a 360-degree online tour of the Science Mill, allowing virtual visitors to steer the exhibits and unlock surprises via their computers, smartphones, tablets, or virtual reality headsets.

Visitors also will be able to:

  • watch exclusive videos on the “The Future of Science” hosted by acclaimed scientists and visionaries;
  • buy pieces from a virtual art gallery, benefiting the facility’s STEM programs;
  • and receive a behind-the-scenes look at the science of its exhibits and how public support brings them to life to benefit youths.

Reserve a free ticket or make a donation on the Science Mill website.
