Lake Marble Falls is a backdrop for fun
At 611 acres, Lake Marble Falls might be the smallest of the Highland Lakes chain, but it serves as one of the biggest backdrops for a lot of fun.
From fishing to paddle boarding, Lake Marble Falls crams plenty of good times into its smaller size.
The holidays are special along Lake Marble Falls. Just before Thanksgiving, the Marble Falls/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce flips the switch to the annual Walkway of Lights, casting a festive and Christmas glow across the lake.
The biggest selling point of the little lake is that its water level remains mostly steady at 737 feet above sea level. And though it might not be as large as its upper and lower companions — Lake LBJ to the north and Lake Travis to the south — it is perfect for personal watercraft and fishing.
